Wesley Foundation welcomes students to campus this spring. 

Are you a United Methodist or from the United Church of Christ? Are you a person who does not want a religious pressure group?  Are you looking for a place where you can explore spirituality?  Ask questions?  Would you like to help develop and work with a team to help develop some new ministry programs?  Are you interested in community service?  Do you want to reach out to others?

The Wesley Academic Leadership Academy provides a group of students with mentoring and skills to take their academic performance up a notch. 

 

Group meets weekly and takes field trips.  3 hours.  No homework required.  More information below.

WESLEY ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

The Wesley Academic Leadership Academy is a training program for new college students who want to become successful scholars and mentors.

 

This grant provides:

 

A twelve week program to develop academic and leadership skills. 

Group activities and field trips.

An award of $350 for participants, $250 at the beginning and $100 at the end of the semester.

 

Students will have the opportunity to explore career and life goals. Those who complete the program may have an opportunity to be hired as peer mentors in the future.

 

The deadline for applications for Spring Semester 2009 is February 25, 2009.
